Weighting System

In today’s industrial era, large and heavy structures are often segmented into smaller modules, manufactured at various locations, and transported over long distances by land or sea to assembly yards for final construction. Prior to loading these modules onto transport equipment, their weight and center of gravity (C.G.) must be precisely determined using a weighing system—a critical step for safe lifting and accurate positioning on the transport vehicle.

The YIPU hydraulic weighting system is designed to connect up to 24 high-tonnage, 0.5-class load cells, delivering an overall system accuracy exceeding 1%. During the weighing process, weight data from each weighing point is automatically recorded. By incorporating positional data for each point, the system generates detailed reports on the total weight and C.G. position with ease.

During the weighing operation, the weight data at each weighing point is automatically logged. With the input of the position data for each weighing point, reports on the weight and center of gravity (C.G.) position are automatically generated.

The YIPU hydraulic synchronous lifting system synchronizes all the jacks at the weighting points, ensuring consistency of the lifted level throughout the weighting process. This system simplifies the weighting process and maintains accuracy in the weighting job.
