Ship Transfer System

The ships built today are becoming increasingly larger. To reduce construction time and enhance productivity, ships are constructed in modules, which are then transferred and joined together module by module.

These modules need to be lifted, moved, rotated, and positioned before being welded in place.

The YIPU hydraulic ship transfer system combines computer control technology with frequency inverter drive, hydraulic jacks, and skidding mechanism. This system enables precise movement and positioning of modules without the need for cranes or movers.
