Synchronous Strand Lifting of 400 ton Steam Vessel at Vietnam
Project Overview :
During the construction of a steam turbine power plant in Vietnam by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Japan, a 400-ton steam storage vessel needed to be elevated 40 meters for installation.
Our Solution
To ensure the safe and efficient completion of this critical lifting operation within a single day, YIPU designed, delivered, and commissioned a state-of-the-art, fully automated strand lifting system.
The system featured four 200-ton capacity strand lifting clusters, each equipped with upper and lower strand chucking devices and three high-pressure hydraulic cylinders, each with a 150-ton capacity.
A hydraulic power pack precisely controlled and supplied hydraulic oil to each cluster, while an advanced computerized strand lifting controller seamlessly managed the chucking, un-chucking of strand wires, and the synchronized lifting and lowering sequences of the cylinders based on operational requirements.
This innovative system enabled the safe and successful completion of the lifting task within the scheduled one-day timeframe.
System consisted
- 4 sets of 200-ton capacity strand lifting clusters
- 1 hydraulic power pack for strand lifting
- 1 four-point synchronous strand lifting controller
