Project Overview :

As part of the maintenance program for the Dali-Lijiang Expressway in Yunnan, the bearings supporting the bridge girders between piers require periodic replacement to ensure structural integrity.

Engineering Challenges :

To replace the bearings without disrupting traffic flow, the bridge girders must be lifted evenly at multiple points to maintain precise leveling. This ensures minimal impact on the highway’s operations and safety for ongoing traffic.

Our solution

YIPU hydraulic Computerized Synchronous Lifting System is ideally suited for this task. The system achieves a lifting accuracy of up to 1 mm at each lifting point, with real-time monitoring of the weight distribution during both lifting and lowering operations. This precision and control enabled the bearing replacement to be completed in minutes, without any disruption to traffic flow.
