Parachute Training System
Project Overview :
YIPU designed and delivered the world’s first Parachute Training System in Singapore, a groundbreaking innovation tailored to meet the rigorous training needs of commandos. This system provides intensive, simulated training to prepare trainees for the challenges and drills encountered during a parachute descent, serving as an essential prerequisite before their actual parachute jumps.
System Design
The system is structured into three distinct modules, each simulating a critical phase of a parachute jump:
1. Twist & Rotational Trainer (TRT): Simulates rotational movements and canopy control during descent.
2. Landing Training Simulator (LTS): Replicates landing scenarios to train proper techniques and minimize injury risks.
3. Airborne Training Simulator (ATS): Mimics the airborne phase, including take-off and descent dynamics.
Equipped with an intelligent automated control mechanism, the system allows instructors to customize key parameters such as take-off height, parachute maneuvers, wind resistance, descent speed, trajectory, and landing conditions. This enables a progressive and controlled training experience tailored to the trainees’ skill levels.
Benefits
The Parachute Training System delivers intelligent, high-safety, all-weather training for paratroopers, significantly enhancing training efficiency. It enables trainees to progress incrementally through realistic simulations while minimizing the risk of injury, ensuring they are well-prepared for actual parachute jumps.
