2000 Ton MDC Load Calibration System in Singapore
Project Overview :
Malayan Daching Co. (MDC), established in 1955 in Singapore as a manufacturer and service provider of mechanical scales, has grown into a leading pioneer in weighing and calibration services. To meet the rising demand for calibrating high-tonnage hydraulic jacks and load cells used in pile testing, MDC required an expansion of its calibration capacity to 2000 tons.
Our Solution
YIPU designed and delivered a 2000-ton calibration press, certified by Singapore authorities for calibration work in compliance with ISO 376 standards. The calibration process is pre-programmed with load steps as per ISO 376 requirements and is fully automated through a dedicated software program developed by YIPU’s software engineers. The system maintains the applied load within the precise tolerances mandated by ISO 376.
To achieve stringent load maintenance requirements, YIPU incorporated a digitally controlled force maintenance device, managed via the controller, which sustains the applied load within a 0.1% accuracy range. Load data is automatically logged into the computer, enabling the generation and printing of test reports as needed.
System consisted
1. 1 high-pressure power pack
2. 1 2000-ton press frame with a high-pressure, low-friction cylinder
3. 1 YIPU calibration computerized controller
